Wood & Stone Coat Exterior (WSCE)
WSCE is an aqueous one-component coating based on chemical engineered Nano technology. Self-organizing Nano molecules add water and dirt repellent qualities to the treated surface.
WSCE has been specially developed for the treatment of porous, highly absorbent minerals and wooden surfaces, providing excellent protection against, bacteria, algae and moss growth. Dirt no more adheres to the surface and is easily removed with water. The walls remain dry in the rain and there are no influences of botanical growth after treatment with the WSCE.
- High breathability.
- Cost reduction in maintenance and cleaning.
- Hydro and oleophobic.
- No absorption during rainfall.
- The applied Nano coating provides a long-lasting protection against moss and algae growth.
- Precast concrete.
- (Untreated) wood.
- Surface Condition
The condition for an optimal hydrophobic effect is the absorption of the hydrophobizing agent. It depends on the pore volume of the substrate which is treated and the moisture content. Hence, the surface must be as dry as possible.
The impregnation is possible for all temperatures however; we do recommend an application temperature between 8C and 25C. To remove any deposits and/or grease, we recommend the following steps:
- Shake Cleaner well before use.
- Apply using a spray.
- Clean with a soft cloth, sponge or brush.
- If necessary, rinse with water and dry large areas with a wiper.
- stone and wood
- to become
- water and dirt
With nebulizer begin spraying the surface to be treated and work upwards. Distribute excess coating with a roller or brush and working from the bottom up.
Control of a surface
After 3 hours, coat the surface again according to the above procedure. When the coating no longer attaches then the application is completed!
Color and gloss
Colorless, dries colorless (no cover), invisible.
1 liter bottle, 5 and 10 liter jerry cans.
On a smooth surface, coverage is approximately 24 to 32 m2 per liter. The indicated quantity is a target value. Depending on the nature of the substrate and process it may differ. Exact values for each project can be determined by coating test areas.
Appropriate technical measurements
Ensure adequate ventilation.
Suitable chemical resistant safety gloves (EN 374) when longer exposure in direct contact (Recommendation: protection index 6, corresponds >480 minutes permutation according to EN 374). E.g. nitrile rubber (> = 0.4 mm), butyl rubber (> = 0.7 mm), and others.
Safety goggles with side shields conforming to EN 166.
Skin and body
Not required under normal conditions.
Under normal operating conditions, no respiratory protection needed. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory protection. If nebulizing: aerosol mask with filter type P3.
Do not eat, drink or smoke while working.
